A Volunteer application and instructions are available here for anyone considering Coach, Assistant, Manager, Trainer roles or for Association events.
Thinking about being a volunteer for this coming season? Please make sure you submit your Volunteer Application by August 30, 2012.
This year a committee will be reviewing all submissions and once sort outs are nearing completion coaches, managers and trainers positions will be assigned.
Returning Volunteers:
If you are interested in returning as a volunteer in the same position as last year and you completed a volunteer application last year, please complete this “short” application form. Make sure to include all documentation that is requested for the position you are applying for (see list on page 2) and either mail the form to the ORHMA Office OR scan and email to Volunteer@ormha.ca
Returning Volunteer Application
New Volunteers / Volunteering for a different position:
If you are interested in volunteering for either a coach, assistant coach, manager or trainer please complete this application form. Make sure to include all documentation that is requested for the position you are applying for (see further instructions for each position below). Volunteer Application
Managers and Trainers:
Simply fill out name and contact info and select the level and position you are interested in volunteering for (page one). Check the appropriate certification acknowledgements (Section 2). Then sign the form (page two – Section 3) and either mail the form to the ORHMA Office OR scan and email to Volunteer@ormha.ca
Coaches and Assistant Coaches:
Simply fill out name and contact info and select the level and position you are interested in volunteering for (page one). Check the appropriate certification acknowledgements (Section 2).
Next complete section 4, making sure to include:
Signed Coaches Code of Conduct
Sample Practice Pan
Copy of Coaching Certification
Then sign the form (page two – Section 3, and page five) and either mail the form to the ORHMA Office OR scan and email to Volunteer@ormha.ca
Volunteers for Association events:
Simply fill out name and contact info and select the association event(s) you are interested in volunteering for (page one). Then sign the form (page two) and either mail the form to the ORHMA Office OR scan and email to Volunteer@ormha.ca
Police Records Check:
If you need to have your Police Records Check done (ORMHA requires it to be done every 2 years) please complete this PRC form and email risk@ormha.ca to get your volunteer letter that will waive the processing fee.
