Osgoode Rideau U15A takes another gold!

​Osgoode Rideau U15A won their second tournament gold of the season on the weekend, by winning the ORMHA Winter Classic. After a solid round-robin, the team got through to the semis in tie-breaker fashion from a strong division. In the semi-final, after quickly going ahead, our boys gave up the tying goal early in the third. But they kept the pressure up and stuck with the game plan, scoring again to go ahead 2-1 late in the third, and going on to win by that score. In the final, the boys fell behind early, and in a super-tight contest, tied it midway through the second. They then took the lead for the first time midway through the third, and followed it quickly with an insurance goal less than a minute later. Things got feisty late in the game, and the boys showed great resilience, including killing off a 2 man advantage to end the game. A memorable weekend indeed.
